The work of Vicente Juan Gilabert seems funny, but not humorous (because it is not). When analyzing his paintings (his paintings are not looked at, they are analyzed), I discover infinite nuances and details that call my attention. Regardless of the technical requirements demanded in a pictorial work, (treatment of color, light, texture, etc.) his paintings are entertaining, each keeps an explanation, its history, its raison d'être. They have a personal identity seal, an exclusive copyright. They are conceptual reflections, colorful and very energetic. Splash of incisive creativity. The theme is disparate, fruit of its overflowing imagination and inspiration. Landscapes, esoteric, dreamlike and mythological figuratism combine to give answers to ancestral approaches such as their own incongruity, fear, the different roles of the human being or the direction of their conscience and different perceptions of the tangible or ethereal reality. Seguir Pintando.
Acercarse a la pintura con los ojos limpios y nuevos es algo que resulta bastante difícil para
el que se considera aficionado al arte, dado que  siempre nos es más cómodo relacionar lo
que estamos viendo con lo que ya conocemos.
Hacer un repaso rápido y superficial de la obra de Vicente Juan que ahora contemplamos,
podría llevarnos a pensar de el que sigue, aparentemente, los pasos de los pintores surrealistas
y tal vez sea la estética surrealista, que no la  ideología, el único vínculo que le une a ellos.
Ahora bien, Vicente Juan sigue exclusivamente pintando porque sueña la pintura y no porque
desea transmitir en imágenes sus sueños.
Para el la pintura es el medio de transcender al universo de las imágenes de su propio mundo
espiritual.Todos los elementos formales presentes en sus composiciones son y existen no sólo
para justificar icono gráficamente cada una de sus obras, sino porque el las cree así y así
necesita narrar su realidad.
Todo en su obra está pensado y nada fluye al azar.Por eso, sólo una mirada limpia nos puede
llevar a descubrir la trama de ese momento metafísico que todas sus pinturas.

La obra de Vicente Juan Gilabert me parece divertida, pero no en plan humorístico (porque no lo es). Al analizar sus cuadros (sus pinturas no se miran, se analizan), descubro infinidad de matices y detalles que me llaman la atención. Independientemente de los requerimientos técnicos exigidos en una obra pictórica, (tratamiento del color, la luz, la textura, etc.) sus cuadros son entretenidos, cada uno guarda una explicación, su historia, su razón de ser. Poseen un sello de identidad personal, un copyright exclusivo. Son reflexiones conceptuales, coloristas y muy enérgicas. Derroche de creatividad incisiva. La temática es dispar, fruto de su desbordante imaginación e inspiración. Paisajes, figuratismo esotérico, onírico y mitológico compaginan para dar respuestas a planteamientos ancestrales como la propia incongruencia, el miedo, los distintos roles del ser humano o el rumbo de su conciencia y distintas percepciones de la realidad tangible o etérea. La vida es como es, pero cada uno la percibe con una mirada particular y peculiar, y debemos afrontar sus consecuencias. (Daniel Arenas. El lenguaje pictórico de Vicente Juan se articula en sus obras a partir de objetos irrelevantes,

En Vicente Juan encontramos el relato intimista y poético inserto en las dimensiones de un 

cuadro. Podemos decir que cada obra tiene vida propia que nos enriquece con un lenguaje muy 

personal de mágica simbologia que nos invade y nos hace complices de su autor.

Cada cuadro es una historia cuidadosamente meditada desde la composición al mínimo detalle del

dibujo, el color armoniza coherentemente con el mensaje y hace que llegue hasta nosotros toda esa

descarga emocional de un ser que siente la humanidad que le rodea y que le invaden todos los

En estos trabajos pictóricos lo que trata de reflejar el artista, son ciertos rasgos de su personalidad
interna, que le dan a su arte un concepto surreslista.
Ni que decir tiene, que el espectador es atraído al observar con atención el lienzo, y es ahi precisamente
donde el autor ve premiado su esfuerzo.
El pintor proyecta en cada cuadro un fragmento de su espiritualidad que la salpicando por doquier de una
forma natural, y cuando el observador contempla estas maravillas se perciben sensaciones gratas, no soló
a los sentidos físicos, sino tambien al alma.
Resumiendo este tipo de arte rompe de alguna forma las reglas dogmáticas y esquemáticas de la pintura
figurativa, que todos estamos acostumbrados a ver, intentando que cada uno le de su propia interpretación
y así verá que cada vez que mire, descubra algo nuevo e interesante que tal vez no haya visto anteriormente
